About Joie De Vivre Wall Hangings
The fabric line " joie de vivre" benefits breast cancer research and it is french for joy of life. It was designed by Luana Rubin for Robert Kaufman fabrics. The pattern truly reflects that feeling. The wall hangings have of wonderful glow when they are hung in a window and illuminated from behind. I have a true friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer right when I found this fabric. I made her a quilt with it to cover her with love during surgery, recovery, and chemotherapy I kept on sewing until I used up all of this fabric I could find since it is no longer in print with the hope that other people could have a gift during such a hard time, with any illness.
The center mandala pattern truly embodies a feeling of feminine joy and grace.
These were made with thoughts for healing and comfort.
