Pink Fairy

The focus of these wall hangings is a fairy panel from the fabric line "flower fairies" printed by Michael Miller. These were inspired by the art of Cicely Mary Barker and influenced by the art noveau movement. It reflects the vistorian fascination with fairies. The outer borders enhance the colors and different characters of each print. For the wall hangings I chose my favorite from all the prints in several fabric selections (yellow, periwinkle, hawthorne , blossom and christmas) Machine quilting (with Mountain Mist batting) and decorative feather stitching gives depth. For hanging, there are coordinating fabric loops to hold a birch dowel, covered in yarn by Lions Brand, homespun line 13' X 16" These are truly unique and so sweet.
