All the art wall hangings are different. I find a focus fabric that is special and design a "setting" for it, something that reflects and enhances the essence of the main design. I use color and shape in many pieces to create movement within harmony. I usually work from the center outward, building on the layer before it. Sometimes it takes a lot of experimenting with different fabrics to get it just right. They all have their own unique character.
