Tropical angel fish
These 2 quilts use the same focus fabric line but one is in royal blues and the other is in turquoise. The fish are the same design but in different colors and shades. Each quilt is a similar layout but uses different fabrics.
38' x 43' mediterranean turquoise
This quilt has a more turquoise shade and the colors of the fish are medium in tone. The fabric used in the background around the angel fish blocks is “neon ocean” by Fabriquilt. The vertical lines are the multicolor design and the horizontal lines are the blue/green design. Both resemble currents of color with tiny bubbles creating a feeling of swimming. The next border is a bali batik multi color in mediterranean ocean colors of turquoise/blue/greens/violets. There are 2 other flannel borders, one is bali batik marble in neon green/sky blue/ turquoise.(3) The other is fossil fern flannel (benartex) in royal which combines midnight blue with muted marine blue washouts The ‘block ‘ border mirrors all the colors of the fish which is repeated in more subtle tones in flannel edge with 2 rows of color, greens and turquoise inner and rose/ violet outer. I love the effect of these 2 particular fabrics and the soft touch of the flannel at the edge.
