The center panel of this quilt is truly one of the sweetest ever ! It is an endearing scene of a baby bear reading to friends under a magical tree with the moon, an owl peeking from his hole, and baby birds in the nest looking on. The fabric is called PJ friends by Becky Kelly for Timeless treasures.There are coordinating fabrics from this same line in outer borders. There is an outer border of tiny one inch squares edged in a jewel tone royal blue "fossil fern" by Benartex. Some of the pastel yellows are from "baby's second step" by Pat Guille for wilmington Prints. The edging is a lively dot print in deep royal called "funz kids" by Timeless Treasures. An outer border uses "opal" fossil fern by Benartex There are 2 layers of feather stitching in multicolored pastel thread by Signature in 20 weight cotton. Backed in white double napped flannel. 45" X 60"
