About Quilts
There are many varieties of adult quilts to reflect different tastes and color themes. I start with a fabric palette, idea or visual pattern and work with what I have. Many quilts are created from the center outward, building on the layer before. Others use a specific block and I have to figure out how to connect everything. Working this way is time consuming but I love the interaction between ideas and the fabrics. I work with color, tone and design to create movement and balance. It is so exciting to see how each quilt comes to life.
