About Florida Tropics bags- wall hangings
This series uses a unique colorwashed batik batik as the focus fabric. The central panels of these bags have the same design but are infused with color in different patterns, creating a varied look. The palm trees, ocean, shore and boats are washed in sunset colors. This fabric is "sunset palms" in sunset gold, a tonga bali batik by Timeless Treasures. The borders are single strips of many different colors to enhance the shades of the center panel.I used fossil fern colors by Benartex and other batiks from my stash of fabrics.
