About Childrens Quilts
There are 2 childrens quilts that are recent additions.
The first quilt has 12 blocks of fairy scenes. The fabric is al called flower fairies, inspired by the art of Cicely Mary Barker and printed by Michael Miller Fabrics. This victorian style of fairy pictures was influenced by the art noveau movement. The quilt uses many shades of violet, purples and blues.
The center panel of this second quilt is truly one of the sweetest ever ! It is an endearing scene of a baby bear reading to friends under a magical tree with the moon, an owl peeking from his hole, and baby birds in the nest looking on. The fabric is called PJ friends by Becky Kelly for Timeless treasures.
