Peach Glaze/Rust Octagon

Peach glaze/rust Octagon This is a more complex piece and although it is a bulletin board it will lend an artistic touch to any area. It is a good size for a condo, apartment or smaller workspace. The center panel is fossil fern by benartex in glazed peach. It has decorative stitching, geometric double cross stitch, in an octagon shape in contrasting rust which matches the borders and mirrors the corner straps. There are 4 corner straps for sliding in papers or photos and to add to the design. The first border is a rust leaf print “print de soleil” by Hoffman. There is a 1 inch strip of small squares of 4 different fabrics with leaves, ferns and foliage in the rust color family. It is on 4 sides and ends at a corner square. The corner square is chestnut flannel, it is the same as the corner straps. The outer 2 borders are “woodrose in winter” by Holly Taylor for Moda. One strip is cut on the perpendicular and is cotton. One is cut on the selvage edge and is flannel. There is a top hem to insert a birch dowel for hanging. Backing is 200 count white muslin by Moda Series of 6 3 are 21" x 25" 3 are 20" x 23"
