Plum Flannel/Aborescent Border

Plum flannel/ aborescent border The center flannel in this bulletin board is plum tokoyo line for Red rooster. This rich color is also used for the outside edging and stitched in the center to make it look like 2 rows. There are also 2 narrow borders using fossil fern by benartex in the color red river which is not being reprinted. The main focus fabric border is an unusual fabric by Kent Avery called “arborescent”. It has rows of fan like designs outlined in maroon with very unique centers. There are 2 different cuts highlighting different designs. The outer border is “floral trails” bamboo lily collection by Moda. There is decorative geometric double cross stitching around the center panel and in the 3rd border to add depth. There is also machine quilting in the stitch in the ditch pattern at seams. Backing is white muslin by Moda. At the top, there is matching fabric loops for a birch dowel covered in yarn by Lions Brand , homespun line.
