The center of these bags is a fairy panel called flower fairies, inspired by the art of Cicely Mary Barker and printed by Michael Miller Fabrics. "Smiling, cherub-like children took on ethereal nature in Barker's turn of the century art." Influenced by the Art Nouveau Movement her artwork visualized the Victorian fascination with fairies. These are treasures, each unique but wonderful. They come in periwinkle, yellows and Christmas panels.The outer border, handles and backing of this series are dark pine green twill cotton, heavy weight,very sturdy bags. Hard to choose which ones are the best!
