About Paula

I started sewing since the summer after 6th grade and have been making clothes, quilts, and presents ever since. My 3 sons have more than one quilt each and I just got to make some for my first grandson ( I could not resist putting him in some of the pictures). I recently built a 100% non toxic home in Micanopy, Florida because of serious health problems ( allergies and chemical sensitivities). I have severe reactions to many toxins that most people tolerate (such as pesticides) so I have to avoid them and be in a safe environment. Creating with fabric is something I can do within the current limitations of my life and I love it. I truly appreciate you supporting my work.

The 22 acres of nature and peaceful surroundings out here are a part of my work and it is my hope that it will surround you when you bring them into your life.

I find that appreciated and special objects can carry our stories and I hope that these quilts, hangings and the rest will brighten up yours.
